Original Burger with Crispy Bacon
The timeless burger!
Soft bread, minced beef, cheddar cheese, fresh vegetables and crispy bacon, all topped with homemade ranch sauce.
Ingredients (for one burger):
- 1 seeded burger bun
- 1 minced beef patty
- 1 slice of cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of Philea® crispy bacon
- A few salad leaves
- A few slices of Philea® semi-dried marinated tomatoes
- A few slices of red onion
- 1 tablespoon of homemade ranch sauce
Homemade ranch sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of crème fraîche
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 pinch of garlic powder
- 1 pinch of chopped chives
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
1. Cooking the steak and bacon
- Cook the minced steak in a frying pan or on the grill to your desired doneness.
- Bacon: fry in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
2. Assemble the burger
- Toast the burger buns.
- Add the lettuce, tomatoes, onion, steak with melted cheddar, slices of Crispy Bacon Philea® and homemade ranch sauce.
- Close the bun and serve.
Chef's tip:
Serve with homemade chips, cheddar sauce and Crispy Bacon Philea® as a topping.
