Crunchy Hot Dog with Crispy Bacon

The delicious, crispy hot dog!

A soft bread roll topped with a frankfurter sausage, mustard, ketchup, Crispy Bacon Philea® and caramelised onions.

Ingredients (for one hot dog):

- 1 hot dog roll

- 1 frankfurter sausage

- 2 slices of Crispy Bacon Philea®

- 1 dash of mustard

- 1 dash of ketchup

- A few pieces of caramelised onions

Preparation:

1. Cooking the bacon and sausage

- Bacon: fry in a hot pan for 2-3 minutes until crispy.

- Sausage: simmer in water for 5 minutes or fry/grill.

2. Assemble the hot dog

- Open the bun and slide in the sausage.

- Add the slices of Crispy Bacon Philea® and caramelised onions.

- Top with mustard and ketchup.

Chef's tip:

Add a dash of barbecue sauce for a smoky flavour.
