Panko Chicken Hot Dog

The hot dog revisited with chicken!

A soft brioche bun topped with Japanese Style® panko chicken tenders, red onion, gherkins and homemade sauce.


Ingredients (for one hot dog):

- 1 brioche hot dog bun

- 2 Japanese Style® panko chicken tenders

- A few slices of red onion

- A few slices of gherkins

- 2 tablespoons of homemade sauce 


Homemade hot dog sauce:

- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

- 1 tablespoon of ketchup

- ½ teaspoon of sweet paprika

- ½ teaspoon of honey or maple syrup

- 1 pinch of salt

- 1 pinch of pepper


Mix all the ingredients together until you have a smooth sauce.


Preparation:


1. Cooking the chicken

- Oven: 220°C for 15-20 minutes.

- Deep fryer: 180°C for 4-5 minutes.


2. Assembling the hot dog

- Open the brioche bun.

- Add the Japanese Style® panko-breaded chicken tenders, then the red onion and gherkins.

- Drizzle generously with homemade sauce.


Chef's tip:

Serve with sweet potato fries with cheddar sauce and Crispy Bacon Philea® strips as a topping.
